Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her best-known role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in an Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago, working in theatre role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood where she started acting in TV shows and films. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a handful of TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully is the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the play Numbered Day. It is a podcast consisting of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last seasons in the story of Walter White.
