Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval by music journalists and press. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, has given it some more recognition. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding the piano in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for development of her own, not as a way of earning money or to pursue an interest. As a result, she started writing songs of her own. Alongside Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. She began performing her music in public when her mom suggested they could help people not be famous with her work but to make people see around them realize their importance and the ways they can affect the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began making music when she was 9 years old. Her family didn't know about this until she was 14. Aurora's fame was not the goal of her. Her only passion is writing music. She believes that music is the most effective method to experience anything.
